Calling all adventure seekers, nature lovers, swashbucklers, beautiful dreamers, and wanderers of the world — join me on my photographic journey...
Born in Chicago and raised in the south suburbs, Kelly Griffin has now called Rockford home for the last 10 years. Blending her self-taught photography skills and an art education from Eastern Illinois University, Griffin revels in photography because it allows her to slow down, appreciate the details all around, and make a connection to her subject. In turn, her hope is that the viewer feels this connection as well.
Griffin gets her inspiration from the beauty and wonder of nature. From the garden in her backyard to hiking mountains around the globe, she has an inherent talent for capturing tranquil moments in time and transporting you there—stirring your emotions and awakening your senses. Her work has been described as having a calm, zen-like quality—dreamy, peaceful and moody.
You can find Griffin selling her work at fine art fairs around the midwest, shooting nature-based weddings & families, or out on the trail hiking with her husband and dog.
